Our Centre
The Canadian Irradiation Centre (CIC) is part of MDS Nordion's commitment to gamma processing. A cooperative project between MDS Nordion and the Université du Québec, Institut Armand-Frappier, it offers a range of irradiation services including training, testing and development. The CIC's objectives are to develop, demonstrate and promote irradiation processing technology by:
- Conducting applied research and testing
- Training technical, scientific, operations and regulatory personnel
- Providing contract irradiation services
